The life of a gay, black, South African boy is so exciting, no wonder people don’t like me sometimes! I have a Bachelor of Social Science (Honors) specialising in Diversity studies. This was awarded to me this past Thursday. I am so glad I am done with honors. I have learned so much this past year, I am so proud of myself for packing my bags and coming to Cape Town. My mother was here for the graduation ceremony, along with my uncle and my moms boyfriend. It was an amazing 4 days of driving around Cape Town showing them where what was. It’s amazing how much I know Cape Town after a few months. My mom has always wanted to go to Cape Point, she has never had the opportunity to go there before, so when she was here she went. It was like fulfilling a lifelong dream. My mom did history and geography, so she loves anything that has to do with nature. I never really got to talk to my mom about my “coming out” letter. I am sure it will come up in P.E when I go home.

It was O Birthday yesterday the 16th of December so we went6 to Mzoli’s in Gugulethu. It was amazing. We had so much fun dancing and drinking and eating braai meat. Osh said he wants to go to Mzoli’s for his birthday when he visited Mzoli’s for the first time. He has been settling in nicely in Cape Town. His boyfriend is here, and they are so in-love. They are spending Christmas together. They are even talking marriage. I tell you some people have got it figured out.

I went to a Christmas party organised bu Janine, one of the interns at work. It was a good party, and we all had gifts for each other. I bought Janine the most amazing Martini glasses, they have a silver lining where you place your lips. She moved house so it was a great gift and also, it’s what she wanted. I ask people what they want or you listen what they want. I hate buying gifts that people don’t need. I know it’s the thought that counts, but let it be a good thought! I received B-day by Beyonce’ the deluxe edition. I am so in-love with B it’s not even funny. I love my gift.

I went Emily’s going away party which was at her house. Her band played and it was so cool. She will be leaving the same day as me, but going to USA. She has been such an amazing friend for the past months. Hopefully I will see her again. I bought her a going away present, still have to give it to her. I am so going to miss this girl. She understood me. Patricia and Netsai have also gone home to Kenya and Zimbabwe respectively. They have my source of strength for the past year. My honors year would have never been the same without them. I miss those girls. I miss going shopping with them. We went out to Long Street on Friday to celebrate our Graduation. The ladies are so much stronger than I am, I was crying like a baby. I am going to miss them.

Stefan my Geramn friend has broken up with his boyfriend after one and a half year of being together. It’s not because  of me. I like Stefan, but we never did anything,( ok we kissed once). This was also on Friday night when I went out with classmates. We kissed in the middle of the dance floor in Serecences. The kiss was good, maybe it’s because it’s been a while. He has soft lips and we kissed for a  while, to a point where people were irritated by us. He was really good. The next day he told me he broke up with his boyfriend. They have been having problems before I came along (that’s what he says and I believe him). So now, me and Stefan are not dating, we are “friends” and just hang out. Stefan and partner have been breaking and making up for a while now. So I will not invest in anything with him. And he said that he wants to be single and free and I understand. We are going to the movies tomorrow, his parents are also in town and I will be seeing Stefan in Port Elizabeth in early January 2008. I don’t know what is going to happen, I will go with the wind. Life sure is interesting!

I am going to MCQP this coming Saturday. Have only a vague idea of what I will be wearing. My look will be glam, bright, sexy, and my hair will be an accessory by its self. Can’t wait. These are exciting times, 2007 is going out with a real bang. I wonder what 2008 has in store for us, guess we will find out in about two weeks. Merry Christmas and a magnificent 2008 everybody!
