I found an interesting article in the comment section of the mail and guardian about gay marriages. It is from a Reverend who blesses same sex marriages as he sees them as something worthy of blessing. He believes that God would want him to bless same sex marriages. As gay as have had problems with the concept of gay marriages as I was brought up with Christian values. I find it interesting and of comfort that  minister from a church endorses gay marriages. I also feel that one of the reasons I had problems with gay marriage as a concept, I always felt it was a sin and so it would never be blessed by God. Articles like these help people like me to negotiate my sexual identity with my Christian identity. Realising that I can be the other without loosing the other.
