My boyfriend smokes and I don’t. Smoking is a choice, and I choose not to smoke. I destroy my liver enough with vodka, I do not want to do the same to my lungs. God knows they are already in poor quality. I hate the smell of cigarettes, the smell nauseatesme. I grew up in a smoke free house. I don’t mind people who smoke. In-fact I love smokers, I even carried a lighter with me for a while to have conversations with smokers. It’s not the people who smoke that I do not like but the habit of smoking.

I practically told my boyfriend that I do not appreciate him smoking in the car. This is NOT my car, it’s his. I know that, but I still feel disrespected that someone smokes in the car when I don’t smoke. I told him that I would rather walk or stand outside while he smokes. I feel bad because he can’t smoke in his own car. I feel like I am being a bully, but why should I be forced to smoke when I do not want to. If I wanted to smoke I would.

I seem like I am being a bitch but I am not angry. I still love my boyfriend, but I do not want to be forced to inhale smoking.
