I am currently doing a Master of Science in Social Responsibility at St Cloud State University.
I am particularly interested in the GLBTI and “race” studies. I have done research on the intersections of “race” and sexual identity. Intersections are my interset as identities change on their own, but when they are fused and with other identities the dynamics within an individual and how they negotiate those identities is worth looking at.
I want to be writer, I love writing. I love expressing myself and my thoughts. Blogging is like giving the world a piece of your mind. Whether there’s someone listening or not is irrelevant. As much as I love the internet, I still appreciate a beautifully put together magazine or book. Nothing beats reading, not even writing.
I am hoping to be a researcher one day when I grow up. I have already started with my journey into writting. This can change ofcourse as life always seems to have other plans for you.
I have dreams of traveling the world. I got a taste of the world when I was an exchange student in St Cloud State University in 2005. Hopefully my travelling needs will be met before I die. I have made friends from all over the world. I have people in Europe and America and plenty of friends in the African continent.
I have dreams of visiting all the SADC countries, and then East Africa. I have dreams of going to seeing my friends in Sweden. I want to travel to South America as well. I have heard and read plenty about the Greek Islands, I would be extremely sad if I never get to visit one day.
When I was in high school I told my mother that I want to DAZZLE the world. She said I should relax, as time will come. I think that time is NOW!
